Gluten Free Baked Oat Flour Doughnuts

Who says doughnuts can't be healthy? We certainly didn't! Crafted with gut-loving oats, omega-packed hemp seeds, and sweetened with unrefined brown sugar these doughnuts are light, indulgent, and full of low glycemic, slow-releasing energy.

35g Hemp hearts
35g Pumpkin Seeds
70g Dried cranberries
170g Plain Flour
1 tbsp Baking Powder
½ tsp Salt
95g Amisa Pure Porridge Oats
3 tbsp avocado oil
1 Egg
35g Greek yoghurt
60ml Water
95g Brown Sugar

Preheat oven to 350º F. Spray doughnut trays with cooking spray.

  1. Combine greek yogurt and water in a bowl, and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ALL the DRY ingredients.
  3. In a smaller bowl, combine ALL the WET ingredients.
  4. Add the yogurt/water mixture to this bowl.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, and stir to combine.
  6. Fill the piping bag with batter.
  7. Pipe into each donut into the trays
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until perfectly cooked. 
  9. Remove from oven and allow to cool before dusting with icing sugar (optional)
